Christmas Time!

This year Christmas started earlier and luckily it's not over yet!!! We celebrated last weekend in Morgantown with my host sister's family and my host family, then yesterday evenining we went to my host mother's brother with all her relatives to have Christmas Eve Dinner. And today we got to eat at my grandma's with all my host dad's relatives.  And this weekend we are gonna celebrate with the rest of the family!
This was a really amazing week, I got to experience how people here celebrate this wonderful holiday and I got to taste some delicious food and spend some quality time with my host family!
I can't even explain how thankful I am also for all the gifts I received!
I also got to hang my family ball to the christmas tree!

Primanti Bros.!

I spent a wonderful weekend in Morgantown with my host sister's family and my host family! We ate lunch at Primanti Bros., which is famous for its giant sandwiches...so I got to try the double meat Pastrami and Cheese sandwich with french fries inside...well it was so good that it was no big deal eating it all!! It was like as tall as a steak knife, I felt like I was Man vs. Food and I won the challenge!

Christmas Tree!

Christmas is coming and we are getting ready for it! Here is our new christmas tree and the nutcracker ball that I got as a gift for my last performance!! :D

Nutcracker!

Friday I got to perform in the Nutcracker show by MOVB Company in Marietta Ohio! It was such a fantastic experience, even though I'm not a professional dancer I really had an amazing time and I made new friends! And woow  there were like 800 people the first show, nobody expected such a success!!
Now I'm gonna perform again this Monday and Friday, can't wait!!

Update!! Friday was my last performance, I've got to admit that I was kinda sad but amazed, before coming here I had never expected to do something like this, but I'm so glad I took part in this show!! Can't wait to either watch or perform in the Spring Show!

Thanksgiving Day!

My first Thanksgiving! I can't even explain how thankful I am to my host family and to everybody, I'm living a fantastic experience here and today was one of the most awesome day so far. We spent the whole day eating, talking and having a good time together. Food was outstaning, the desserts even more. I guess that Pumpkin Pie is one of my fav so far! I really enjoyed the way American people live this holiday, I wish Italy had something similar!
Oh, and today was also snowing, perfect holiday atmosphere!!!

National Airforce Museum

Yesterday we visited the National Airforce museum in Dayton, Ohio. It was so amaxing, three hangars full of aiplanes from the early 1900s till 2000. It is a place so full of history and pride, loved it!

Morgantown

Yesterday night we got to my host mother's daughter's house in Morgantown, where WV University has its headquarter. The city is really awesome, kinda like a small San Francisco with roads up and down the hills. Also the WVU campus is pretty cool and it the whole city is connected with a network of small shuttles provided by the University!
